At Philo, it’s no secret that we are deeply committed to our audience. From new features, to how we price our service, to how we think about customer service, our subscribers are always top of mind. That focus is one of the great joys of working at Philo. So with that in mind, it’s really exciting to share the news of our latest addition.
We’re thrilled to launch Kin Community’s Video-on-Demand (VOD) library on Philo. Truly a kindred spirit (apologies for the pun), Kin’s special brand of female-focused lifestyle content- with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and female empowerment from diverse talent, fits perfectly into the Philo lineup. Shows including “Really, Truly, Maybe” with Christina Milian, “Hello Hunnay” with Jeannie Mai, and “Heart of the Batter” with Jordin Sparks, are now available as part of Philo’s base package for all subscribers.
But that’s not all…
Our partnership with Kin is also making waves, as we’ll be launching our first original series on Philo! Exclusive to the service, Boss Moves with Rasheeda, stars the iconic Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cast member Rasheeda Frost. New episodes will be streaming weekly starting in the Spring of 2022 and available to all Philo subscribers. The 12-episode, half-hour series begins shooting this month in Rasheeda’s hometown of Atlanta.
Rasheeda is a fan-favorite reality TV superstar and former rapper, but also a highly successful entrepreneur and mogul in the making. Whether showing viewers around her Pressed boutique, filled with her best fashion finds, or cooking up new dishes in her beautiful kitchen, she’s always in boss mode strategizing her next big move.
In Boss Moves, Rasheeda will welcome audiences into her homes and businesses to give them a never-before seen inside look at how she manages her growing empire. From restaurants to fashion to her international real estate holdings, Rasheeda’s hustle never lets up. Informative, aspirational, and full of excitement, viewers of Boss Moves will be treated to tips on how they can follow Rasheeda’s lead and grow their own empire.
