More beloved shows and classic movies are coming to Philo as of today, with the addition of Family Entertainment Television’s FETV, joining the Philo base lineup, and Family Movie Classics (FMC), being added to the “Movies and More” package.
We know that our Philo community will love Family Entertainment Television’s line up of great series and movies from the 1950s to the 1990s. Just in time for “indoor weather” and the upcoming holidays, there are plenty of options for shows that the whole family can watch together.
FETV’s 24-hour programming block of timeless TV series includes fan favorites like Perry Mason, Emergency!, Leave it to Beaver, Rawhide and The Lone Ranger. On Saturdays and Sundays in October the Gunsmoke movie collection will be featured. In November, there’s a Western Movie Matinee every Sunday, with a range of flicks, while in December it’s Perry Christmas – a Perry Mason movie marathon that begins on Christmas day.
Additionally, FMC’s films feature some of the biggest stars of Hollywood history in a variety of genres, including, but not limited to, westerns, comedies, musicals and dramas. Each month, FMC also offers its Silver Screen Spotlight, which is a premiere event that features a new film and encores on various days and times throughout the month. Some of the upcoming November films include Jason and the Argonauts, The Three Stooges Meet Hercules, Cat Ballou and The Old Man and the Sea.
FETV and FMC (for “Movies and More” subscribers) can now be found in the Philo Guide. Make sure you save your favorites! And happy streaming!
