Here at Philo, we make no secret about our love for the Holidays. We’ll happily take all of the feel-good feels of the season, and curl up in front of a holiday movie marathon any day of the week, any time of year. So we certainly have no problem with taking out the tinsel before the pumpkins are carved… It’s with that in mind that we’re thrilled to stuff your stockings with some great news.

Philo is excited to deepen our relationship with the masterminds behind the hot podcast, Deck The Hallmark, bringing their entirely original take on Christmas cheer to you.

For the past four years, South Carolina friends Brandon Gray and Daniel Thompson have been the podcasting world’s go-to experts on holiday movies. They’ve watched and reviewed thousands of hours of Christmas films and can’t get enough. Audiences agree as the popular series has steadily grown. And now the duo will be calling Philo home, as we’ve struck a deal to be the official streaming partner of Deck The Hallmark content, giving them their own channel, which is set to launch soon. The Deck The Hallmark channel will live all year long as part of Philo’s base package and will include five original weekly episodes with exclusive movie reviews and previews, rankings, and interviews with the stars of the shows, as well as back catalog episodes from the past few seasons.

In advance of the channel launching on Philo, The Deck The Hallmark crew will be celebrating with their unofficial holiday kickoff marathon this weekend. Join the group by watching them watch movies ALL DAY LONG! They will be live streaming themselves watching the holiday movies, playing games, chatting with actors, and reviewing the first new Christmas movies of the season! It all kicks off at 6 a.m. EST on Saturday Oct 22, at deckthehallmark.com/marathon. Lucky listeners will have a crack at winning Philo gifts, including free months, TV-watching comfort kits, and more.

Let us know what your favorite (or least favorite) holiday movie is on Philo’s Facebook page in the comments. Happy streaming, and happy holidays!
