It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays are just around the corner and what better way to get into the seasonal spirit than by watching some festive movies? Philo’s holiday hub has all the cheery content you could possibly imagine.

December 2

The Polar Express (2004): In this animated adventure, a young boy takes a magical train ride to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. Along the way, he learns about the power of friendship and the true meaning of Christmas.

December 3

Elf (2003): Get your syrup and spaghetti ready for this classic holiday comedy. Buddy the Elf journeys to New York City to find his real father and help save Christmas.

Airs at 6:00 p.m. ET on AMC.

A Christmas Carol (1984): Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future, who show him the error of his ways and help him rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. This version is considered a faithful adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic. So, only the purest of bah, humbugs here!

#Xmas (2022): Jen, an interior designer, acts as a social media influencer, wrangling her best friend to act as her husband and her nephew to pose as her baby – app in the hopes of winning a design brand social media competition.

White Christmas (1954): Two former Army buddies team up with a sister act to save their former commanding officer’s Vermont Inn. Featuring several classic musical numbers, including the iconic “White Christmas” and “Sisters,” the film follows the friends on their journey to Vermont and their efforts to put on a show-stopping performance to save the inn. Along the way, romance blossoms and the true spirit of Christmas shines through.
