Philo is Now Live on the Apple TV App
We have some more exciting news to share at Philo. All authenticated users can now see Philo content within the Apple TV app! The recent update for the Philo app (version 3.0) added support for Apple TV users, giving you the ability to deep-link their service from the Apple TV app directly to content on Philo. The update also gives subscribers the ability to store the service as their TV provider, known as “Single Sign-On” into TV Everywhere (TVE) apps.

Our “browse while watching” feature is now available for Philo subscribers who use Roku devices! With this new feature, you can watch a show or movie and browse Philo for other content at the same time. In other words, you don’t have to stop streaming your current show while you search for other things to watch.

Watch Women's History Month movies and shows on Philo! Our collection includes those that amplify female experiences and commemorate their role in society.

At Philo, it’s no secret that we are deeply committed to our audience. From new features, to how we price our service, to how we think about customer service, our subscribers are always top of mind. That focus is one of the great joys of working at Philo. So with that in mind, it’s really exciting to share the news of our latest addition.

Black joy. Black resilience. Black excellence. Black history is layered, rich and diverse. This February, in honor of Black History Month, Philo is highlighting its Black Experiences collection, a thoughtfully curated list of movies, TV shows, documentaries and specials celebrating the nuances of Black culture and lived experiences.

Wednesday, February 2nd is Groundhog Day, and you can enjoy Bill Murray’s hit movie Groundhog Day over and over again on Philo (with the STARZ add-on or with a free trial!). The 1993 classic movie follows Phil (Bill Murray), a cynical TV weatherman, covering the annual Groundhog Day celebration. He gets caught in a blizzard that he didn't predict and finds himself trapped in a time warp, doomed to relive the same terrible day.
