Philo Adds More Weigel Networks Channels— MeTV, Heroes & Icons, and Story Television to Channel Lineup!

Three new Weigel channels are shown that are now available on Philo.

Back in late June, Philo added two new Weigel Network channels: DECADES and Start TV to our lineup, and our community responded in a big way, watching hundreds of thousands of hours of the great shows available on these channels! Today, we’re excited to announce we’re bringing Weigel’s additional networks to our service. MeTV, Heroes & Icons, and Story Television were some of our most-frequently requested networks, and we’ve been working hard to bring these favorite channels to Philo subscribers. There’s no extra cost; MeTV, Heroes & Icons, and Story Television are now included as part of your existing Philo base package.

MeTV, America’s No.1 classic television network, presents over 60 different programs weekly, more than any other network featuring classic TV. Shows include classics like MASH, The Andy Griffith Show, Perry Mason, Carol Burnett, The Flintstones, and dozens more, plus MeTV’s hosted horror movie show “Svengoolie!”

If you love classic television shows, you’ll want to tune into the Heroes & Icons channel, as well. Heroes & Icons presents a wide variety of real and imagined heroes who are aspirational, inspirational, or just plain fun. The leads of the network can be summarized in five categories including war, western, justice, iconic and all-American heroes. Popular shows include JAG, Star Trek, Batman, Superman, MacGyver, Baywatch, Monk, and more!

Last but certainly not least, Story Television is a broadcast TV network focused exclusively on history, presenting the real people, historic moments and riveting stories that span from across the ages to present day. On Story Television, every moment is dedicated to compelling stories rooted in historical and factual events and the real people who dared to explore, experiment, and expand the world around them. Stories include those of military and combat, innovation, world events, American history, modern achievement, unexplained phenomena and biographical profiles.

You can find all these shows and networks in the Philo Guide. Don’t forget to save your favorites today! Happy viewing!
