As we inch closer toward the holiday weekend, much of the country is being told to stay inside and avoid the smoky air drifting down from the North, or to beat the extreme heat that many states are experiencing. Meanwhile, thousands of passengers are stranded at airports or in other cities as they await flights. If you’re still looking for ways to salvage the Fourth of July long weekend, Philo has tons of content to entertain yourself wherever you may be.

While there are lots of great movies to show off your patriotic side like A League of Their Own, Monuments Men, and Top Gun: Maverick (available with the MGM+ add-on), Philo also has a ton of fun marathons for you to enjoy this Fourth of July weekend! Check out our recommendations below:

Get a heaping helping of Yellowstone this week on Paramount Network. Binge back-to-back episodes of season 4 beginning Monday, July 3rd at 11 am ET, and season 5 on Tuesday, July 4th starting at 11 am ET. And don’t forget to save the series to your unlimited DVR so you can catch up on the action anytime.

Love Yellowstone? You might also love Dark Winds on AMC. The whole season marathon takes place Friday, so don’t forget to set your DVR. Based on the “Leaphorn & Chee” novel series by Tony Hillerman and set in the 1970s, “Dark Winds” follows the FBI investigation of a bank robbery in Gallup, N.M., and the Navajo Tribal inquiry into the local murder of two Native residents. Lt. Joe Leaphorn, his new deputy Jim Chee, and Sgt. Bernadette Manuelito do the heavy lifting around the reservation, which is near Monument Valley. The strange behaviors of some of the residents and the newcomers intertwine with their personal stories as the two men battle the forces of evil and their own personal demons on the path to salvation.

Join The Heroes & Icons Network (H&I) this Independence Day for their Rod, White & Blue: A Twilight Zone Celebration featuring a marathon of 86 Twilight Zone episodes. It all starts Sunday, July 2 at 12 pm ET and runs through Tuesday, July 4.

Celebrate Independence Day with Revry’s Fabulous 4th Movie Marathon featuring some of their most popular LGBTQ+ films! Don’t miss Addicted to Fresno starring Aubrey Plaza and Natasha Lyonne, A Very Sordid Wedding, Eat With Me, and Boy Meets Girl

Start TV is hosting a must-see crime marathon this Independence Day weekend, starting July 2 at 12 pm ET and running through July 5 at 8 am ET. Catch memorable Murder, She Wrote episodes from the first three seasons and classic made-for-TV movies like Murder, She Wrote: South by Southwest.
